Growth Marketer

Company: (Undisclosed)

Location: Washington D.C.

Job Description

Our Company:

We were created around a simple premise: sales research should always be accurate, fast and accessible to sales teams of all sizes. Working in sales and business development roles at previous startups, our team members had to move very efficiently (and hit lofty sales targets). It would take days, sometimes weeks, though, to identify our target prospects. After outsourcing lead research and getting poor results, we figured there had to be a more efficient way to conduct accurate sales research at scale.

Fast forward to today, and we are the most accurate b2b data research platform on the planet. We couple proprietary tech with expert human researchers to provide the best data money can buy. To this point, we've grown almost entirely organically through word-of-mouth and inbound interest. Now, we need a self-starting growth marketer to pour gasoline on this fire!

The Position:

As the Growth Marketer, you’ll have the freedom to take ideas and run with them. This is an opportunity to make a significant, easily-visible impact on a fast-growing company’s trajectory. Strong writing skills are an absolute must — every facet of this position will incorporate written communication.

You’ll be working directly under our CEO and COO, who have both founded profitable, bootstrapped companies. They bring 9+ years of combined startup experience in a variety of roles to the table. If you have ambitions of starting your own business, this is an unparalleled learning opportunity.

Nitty-gritty:

— $50,000/year on-target earnings
— Uncapped commission structure
— Previous startup experience highly preferred

Responsibilities:

— Own our outbound marketing campaigns to cold leads
— Build and manage a drip email flow to our growing audience
— Plan and execute paid advertising experiments
— Drive signups with outside-the-box promotions
— Author compelling posts for our Medium page
— Curate relevant content on Twitter
— Get creative! If you have an idea on how to grow, we’re all ears

The ideal candidate is:

— An exceptional writer
— Entrepreneurial
— Independent
— Candid
— Detail-oriented
— Selfless
— Fluent in Excel and Google Docs

Perks:

— Weekly company lunch
— Transit benefits
— A desk in our office at the WeWork Wonderbread Building in Shaw, which gives you access to:
——> Unlimited coffee and beer on-tap
——> Breakfast every Monday morning
